Saint Andrew’s Episcopal

Darien, Georgia is a coastal town of about 2,000 people.  But the small town has a cluster of historic churches in its center square. St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church was built in 1879, replacing a building burned by Union troops during the Civil War.  I stopped here one morning thinking the light would be too bright for photographing this church, but it ended up turning out better than I expected with the help of the backlit spanish moss hanging from the surrounding oaks.
