Flemington Presbyterian Church, Liberty County, Georgia

This Greek Revival church was built in 1851 on what is known as Gravel Hill.  Located in rural Flemington, Georgia, the church was added to the National Register of Historic Places three decades ago.  The church was designed by an amateur architect and includes an impressive steeple and what once was a second floor slave gallery. Behind the church is a cemetery that has Civil War casualties from both sides.
